The new series is for their upcoming Jock Issue. I immediately knew that I had to shoot my friend Coach, since I know no jocks and didn't have much interest in finding one to photograph. To make a lifestyle or fetish—such as the Abercrombie and Fitch types or so-called "All American" boys—around the fact that one exercises is odd to me. Coach is not a jock, but his tattoos, specifically with the one of his name tattooed generously across his stomach, seemed like the perfect fit for this project.
